IEC 60364-7-712 applies specifically to electrical installations of PV systems.
Step-by-step process
- Review project documents - We check drawings, string layout, datasheets, method statements, inspection test plans and approved materials.
- Verify module installation - We inspect module positioning, orientation, alignment, clamp location, frame condition and installation quality.
- Inspect DC wiring and connectors - We check cable routing, connector compatibility, cable protection, bending radius, UV resistance and proper termination.

- Inspect combiner boxes and isolators - We verify fuses, surge protection devices, isolators, labels, glands, earthing and internal workmanship.
